Resident Services Manager
Monique Alston joined Housing Initiative Partnership (HIP) in January 2025 as the Resident Services Manager for HIP’s multifamily development program. She supervises HIP’s Resident Services team across Maryland, and coordinates programming and wrap-around services for the seniors who live at HIP’s newest property, the 90-unit Residences at Springbrook in Clinton, Maryland.
HIP’s Resident Services Program is CORES-certified and provides on-site staff in most of its nine multifamily communities to coordinate a variety of community-building activities and individual assistance to residents to help them eliminate barriers to obtaining and maintaining self-sufficiency. The programs are organized into four areas:
- Housing and Family Stability
- Health, Wellness, and Nutrition
- Education, Job Skills, and Computer Training
- Community and Civic Engagement
Monique has more than 20 years of regional property management experience across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, most recently with Habitat America, POAH, and Humphrey Companies. She is passionate about community engagement and brings a wealth of experience to HIP.
