Resident Services Coordinator
Shannon Marshall joined Housing Initiative Partnership (HIP) in August 2023 as the Resident Services Coordinator for Prince George’s County.
HIP’s Resident Services Program provides on-site staff in most of its multifamily communities. The Resident Services Coordinator organizes a variety of activities and provides individual assistance to residents to help them eliminate barriers to obtaining and maintaining self-sufficiency.
In this role, Shannon coordinates a variety of community-building programs and wrap-around services for residents living at HIP’s two properties in Bladensburg, Maryland – Birchwood at Newton Green Senior Apartments and Bladensburg Commons Apartments.
Shannon brings years of experience providing Resident Services to apartment communities in Washington, D.C. and North Carolina, as well as case management services with the homeless, veterans, and youth. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central Pennsylvania College, and her Master’s degree in Human Services Administration with a concentration in Family Counseling from the University of Baltimore.
