HIP ensures that our apartment communities are more than bricks and mortar – that they are also “home” and an integral part of the larger neighborhood. HIP provides on-site resident services at all its multifamily properties. This help is often provided directly through individual coaching orthrough referral to partner agencies in the community who share our commitment. Our goal is to improve the quality of life and self-sufficiency of at-risk and low-income community residents and to help them sustain housing they can afford by providing assistance with basic needs, advocacy, linkages to resources and opportunities to enhance life skills.
Our Resident Service Coordinators promote economic self-sufficiency and foster civic participation by providing a wide range of program services and benefits, including: events and social activities; information and referral; emergency assistance; consultation and referral assistance; financial literacy education; and job referrals and resume writing assistance.
