CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURE

Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc. rehabs and builds properties to sell to low- and moderate-income purchasers.  Participants in HIP/HIP Services’ programs — rental, homebuyer, counseling, or other — are under no obligation to purchase or rent homes from the organization.

HIP/HIP Services may receive fees from various lenders when clients obtain mortgages as a result of an introduction from HIP/HIP Services.  From time to time, HIP may refer, mention, or invite to speak at Homeownership Workshops, persons engaged in work as lenders, realtors, inspectors, appraisers, or other housing related occupations.  HIP does not recommend the services of these individuals or others in their fields either directly or by implication.  Participants have no obligation to engage the services of these individuals.

HIP will not limit the choices of the client to loans, incentive programs, geographical areas, to the exclusion of other loans, programs, or areas, for which client is eligible or qualified.

HIP’s staff, board, affiliates, and other volunteers will work in the best interest of the client at all times.
